Well, the New Year is here at last… 2010. After the crazy life changes I’ve experienced in 2009, all the turbulent ups and downs, what sort of new surprises will it hold for your Favorite Catgirl Princess? Who really knows?

But… how exactly did 2009 finally play out for me? Christmas with Carolyn’s Sister’s family and New Years itself?

Guess you’ll just have to keep reading this week’s “Diary” entry to find out….

Christmas started with a long snowy ride through probably the nastiest blizzard I’ve seen in quite some time. It took us fully half again as long to reach Sandra’s place as we expected… crawling along through a near whiteout and getting stuck at a truckstop for a couple hours so poor Carolyn could get a rest from driving (…but, at least they did have the world’s yummiest chili fries!! Mmmmmm!!! Spicy…..). Both of us were completely worn out when we got there well after midnight on Christmas Eve, but Sandra was still waiting up for us. After grabbing our presents for placing under the tree she immediately shooed us off to the guest room with a quilt she’d had warming up on a radiator to get some well needed sleep.

We were so tired we didn’t even shower, we just slid under that lovely warm blanket and it was then Carolyn remarked with a giggle that it was obvious that letting us share this cozy bed was probably meant to give us the privacy for some potentially racy and intimate Lesbian cuddle time, and that it would be a shame to disappoint their expectations…. But neither of us was able to stay awake that long. Sigh….

Next morning however was a different story…. I awoke from a somewhat erotic dream to find Carolyn kissing and nuzzling me behind my ear as we spooned together, her arms wrapped around me holding me close against her. One hand was softly fondling my breast while the other gently teased me with soft caresses in my most intimate of places. My skin was on fire, and from the way my breathing had been reduced to ragged panting I knew she must have been at it for some time….. I tried to say something but all that I could manage was an incoherent lil’ moan from somewhere in my throat that let her know I was waking up. Sensing this, her touch became much more insistent making me twitch and shiver from head to toe. It was only a moment before a familiar tingling warned me of a climax that washed over me in a kaleidoscope of melting color and the pounding of my own hearbeat in my head…. It was probably the single most erotic thing I’ve ever experienced, and when I could actually focus again, she was lying next to me with the most satisfied look on her face, “Merry Christmas, Miyu-chan…. and remember, they always say it’s better to give than to receive……” She was all flushed and glowing with perspiration… and the thought of all the naughty things she’d done to sleepy lil’ me had her fairly well aroused already, so it didn’t take long for me to pay her back in kind….. Gee…Not a bad way to start the holiday, I must say!!

Eventually we did get up, and by this time Sandra and the family were already awake, her youngest boy Adam excited with his presents, playing with his father while his older sister Maddy helped her mom fix breakfast. It was time for introductions…. and it seems Carolyn had decided to refer to me as simply “my girlfriend Miyuki”… so much better than “Aunt Carolyn’s Special Friend”, thank goodness. At 6, Adam didn’t even think twice about any of it, but Maddy at 13 was obviously fascinated by our relationship, too polite to ask any of the questions that must have bubbled around in her head. Sandra’s husband Allan was polite, but I got a vibe from him that told me he was a wee bit uncomfortable about the whole thing, but he was a good host and never ever made me feel anything but welcome in his home.

We opened our presents…. and I got some nice DVD’s from Sandra and her family…. thanks to Carolyn having told them about my fanatic hobby needs. From Carolyn, I got the cutest little Chinese style brocade jacket….. (which she says I look adorable in even if I’m Japanese and not Chinese…). Carolyn got two gifts…. a pea coat like mine from me (she’d always liked it…. and mine’s too small for her to wear)…. and a brand new GPS for her car from Sandra and the family. The day passed quietly and in the early afternoon Allan took Carolyn and the kids to do some shopping for dinner. I got shanghaied into helping Sandra fix dinner, but I knew she just wanted to have some time to talk seriously with me, which she did the moment we were alone. It was a surreal conversation… with Sandra interested mostly in how Carolyn and I were working out as a couple and if I was serious about being with her for the long run. I assured her we were really very happy…. which was good, as she was worried that if I wasn’t serious about things that it would just tear Carolyn’s heart to shreds. As we got comfortable, she told me she’d known all about me for years…. Carolyn phones her all the time and spent oodles of time telling her about me over the years….. it seems was even her idea to have Carolyn finally tell me how she felt about us rather than pine away wondering “what if?” forever. (Sisters…. you really have to love how they tell each other absolutely everything….) For her part, Sandra thought Carolyn and I made an adorable couple….. she’s a lot like Carolyn and it wasn’t hard to warm up to her once I’d convinced her that hurting her sister was something I’d never, ever do.

We had a simply wonderful Christmas dinner with plenty of food and dessert… and even though we both wanted another night together in that cozy bed, I had to work the next day so we took off for home right after. The snow had stopped falling, and the trip home was far easier than the trip there, letting us get into our own bed by 3 that morning. Not bad for our first “family” celebration as a couple…. (Now I just have to pluck up the courage to tell someone in my own family all about us……)

I wish I could say New Years was as wonderful, but unfortunately for me I had to work both New Year’s Eve and the following day…. I did get to spend Saturday night at home, and so Carolyn, Goober, and I did get some quality time on the couch watching some new movies that evening. I’d have had some up earlier, but much of my last couple days has been consumed trying to reset all my online accounts after losing the email address I use for such things…. You just don’t realize what a pain that is until you actually have to do it, let me tell you!!

Well… as always, I hope my goofy ramblings are welcome, even if I did get a wee bit “R” rated this time out….. but don’t worry, I’m certain my life is likely to get much more boring as winter moves along…..
