Well… the days get shorter, and the month creeps slowly to an end as we move into the final week of our Halloween festivities here at the ol’ Litterbox, so it’s time to see where we stand….. Seems all your Favorite Catgirl has managed to get done are 12 reviews so far, which makes this a banner month here, but falls well short of our lofty goal of 31. D’ohhhh!!

I’m gonna be a busy, busy, busy lady this week, but not to fear, I’ll try like heck to squeeze a couple more goodies in for you all, Gentle Readers, so fear not. After all, what’s Halloween without a few sweet treats to savor and enjoy?

Speaking of treats…. I have just about finished playing “wardrobe mistress” and pulled together costumes for Carolyn and me for the party this Saturday night. We’re definitely going with a “Star Trek” theme….. but not just any “Star Trek” costumes will do…. Oh, no, no, no!! No boring costumes for us! I’ve had a wicked lil’ inspiration and come up with a sexy combo sure to win us that Best Costume prize. It surprises me just how much fun I’ve had working on this….. I guess the ol’ cosplay spirit hasn’t left me after all, despite the years I’ve been away from it.

So what did I come up with? Well….. if ya wanna know that I’m sure you’ll want to “Read On” and find out!!

Well…. first up was a costume for Carolyn…. it’s the first time she’s ever let me “play dress up” with her since we’ve been together, so I wanted to have some fun and tease her a lil’ bit. My sweetie is a real “Star Trek” fan, although not a truly fanatic “Trekkie” or anything…. still, it wasn’t all that hard to convince her to go as Yeoman Rand from the old classic series. But then that would just be sooooo, soooo boring…. now wouldn’t it? Instead…. I’ve come up with a nifty “Mirror Universe Rand” idea for her. You remember that old episode… and those sexy two piece “evil empire” uniforms all the girls got to wear like the one to our left. At 5’6″, she’s a bit taller than petite lil’ me and it’ll work well given her ash blond hair and complexion…. red is certainly her color. The costume itself was easy to find…. and the Insignia as well, but it was in the details that I had the most fun. A quick trip to Walmart fixed her up with some very sexy sheer black stockings, and another trip to a local army surplus shop got me some beautiful East German female officer’s jackboots that look great with it and a beautiful red military beret that added a certain flair to the whole ensemble. Add an eye patch from my own collection and a dueling scar makeup kit…. a coiled black bullwhip from another costume (my Indiana Jane costume from a few years ago) and it shaped up to have a very “Ilsa, She Wolf of the Enterprise” look to it. Perfect!! All that was left was me…..

And….. if my sweetie is going to be Yeoman Rand’s wickedly evil (and reputedly lesbian) doppleganger, then naturally I just had to be her very own pet Orion Slave girl!! This one was easy to pull together. I have just the perfect long black wig from a vampire costume, an old Star Wars inspired Princess Leia slave girl bra in antiqued gold, and it wasn’t hard to invest in some nice things like a swishy hip scarf and jingly coin belt….. even a pair of pretty ankle bells! If the two of us ever get to take those belly dancing classes I wanted to enroll in, I’ll even be able to reuse that stuff!! So, so thrifty…. how could I not buy them? Add a bunch of junk costume jewelry, a lil’ dog collar and a leash to lead me around with and I’m all set! The hardest thing will be applying head to toe green body makeup for it….. but somehow I think I’ll easily be able to find some help to do that!! (Yep…. I’m such a naughty, naughty lil’ kitten!! Hehehehe!!)

Yep…. we ought to really wow the guys in these costumes for sure…. and I know that Carolyn will have as much fun as me camping it up for an evening of sexy Halloween antics. Ahhhhh…. Halloween, I just love you so! You’re this lil’ Catgirl’s favorite holiday!
